The space

Kanon Cottage at Karoo View is a four-sleeper cottage with all your home-from-home comforts. Enjoy large window views overlooking natural indigenous gardens, Robert Gordon Kopje, village of Prince Albert and the Swartberg mountains. It offers spacious open-planning sleeping with the choice of a Luxurious Super King EL bed or Twin EL beds plus a Full Size Extra Length Single bed. A comfortable standard double bed sleeper couch is available for families with a lot of kids. Outside, Kanon Cottage has a private heated Karoo styled hot tub / plunge pool. This is a small pool that is heated by a log fire that is installed in the pool itself.

You'll also enjoy complimentary health breakfast supplies, which are replenished daily. This includes a choice of three cereals, fresh milk and an assortment of tea, coffee, coffee grounds, sugar and traditional rusks. You can also pick your own fresh homegrown veggies and herbs from the organic tunnel and scented garden at Karoo View. If you don't feel like cooking during your stay, the boutique Karoo Charcoal Restaurant is located on-site.

Things to know

Pre-order a Braai Basket including your choice of Karoo Lamb chops, Chicken pieces, and Karoo Wors, like no other. We also include home baked bread, potatoes and onions in foil, farm butter, salad dressing, assorted seasonings and various fresh herbs. We can also supply a Breakfast Basket of Bacon, Eggs, Home Baked Bread, Butter, Jam, Spices, Yoghurt and a Fruit. A washing machine is available at reception.
